USEFUL INFORMATIONS ON HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

is located in Lido which is a boat stop 10 minutes from Saint Mark's Square
Public transportations
Tickets cost from Lido to Saint Mark's Square and viceversa: (please note that the cost of a single ticket is just the same no matter which boat station you choose to get off. It means that you pay the same monney getting off the next boat station or the very last station). Boats runs regularly from 06.00 am to 11.00 pm almost every 10 minutes. Number 1 runs all night long from 11.00 pm to 06.00 am every 20 minutes
PLEASE NOTE YOU CAN BUY: a daily or three days ticket utilizable for all the public boat services. If you decide to buy one of them do it immediately on arrival so you can save the money for the first public boat transfer to reach the hotel
All the tickets can be bought in any tickets office placed at the entrance of any boat station.
Reach the Hotel Reiter from Venice Railway station "SANTA LUCIA"
Once you are at the railway station in Venice Santa Lucia, you should cacth the boat number 51 (the one that goes to the right, and get off in the boat station called Lido).
BE AWARE as in the rail-way station you can meet some people who'll try to stop you proposing tours, alternative accommodatios and other deals. DONT BOTHER THEM as they try to cheat you making you spend a lot of monney then getting commission on what you spend.
Once your get off from the boat in Lido station you 'll be on the main Square S.M. Elisabeth. In the middle part of the square there is a very large street (Gran Viale S.M.Elisabeth) the Hotel Reiter is located half way to the left numb. 57/b (approx. 130 meters from the square next the pharmacy).

Reach the Hotel Reiter from Venice Airport "MARCO POLO"- TESSERA
Cacth the boat called "Alilaguna", managed by the boat company named "San Marco boat" cost of the ticket is 9.00 Euro per person. You should get off at the boat station called LIDO (it is 10 minutes far from Saint Mark's Square). Once your get off from the boat in Lido station you 'll be on the main Square S.M. Elisabeth. In the middle part of the square there is a very large street (Gran Viale S.M.Elisabeth) the Hotel Reiter is located half way to the left numb. 57/b (approx. 130 meters from the square next the pharmacy).
"ALILAGUNA" Shuttle service schedule from airport to Venice
Airport - Murano - Lido - Saint Mark'Square.
This service is done by the boat company "SAN MARCO" -cost of the ticket 9.00 Euro per person 1 way -you can buy the tickets at the box of "San Marco" company located on the arrivals section. when you pass the custom sorting out to the right at the end to the left (its the last box). - PAY ATTENTION: as the "San Marco" company manage as well the taxi boat service be sure NOT TO CACTH a boat taxi as it would cost you approx. 70.00 Euro. Do that only if you are in a harry. - Don't cacth, as well, the BUS services neither a car taxi. It would take a long way to reach venice (remember Venice is formed of a lots of islands and the best way to reach places is by boat).

Reach the Hotel Reiter from Treviso Airport
For the flight coming from LONDON there is a
bus shuttle service managed by "ATVO" which
will take you from Treviso Airport to Venice Piazzale Rome.
From Piazzale Roma you should cacth the boat number 51 (the one that goes to the
left). You should get off at the boat station called LIDO (it is 10 minutes far
from Saint Mark's Square).
Once you get off from the boat in Lido rigth in front the baot station
there is a very large street, which is the main street in Lido called
Gran Viale Santa Maria Elisabetta.
The Hotel Reiter is located at the number 57/b(appr. 150 meters, after
the pharmacy).

Reach the Hotel Reiter by CAR (ferry boat services from Tronchetto)
Once you get out from the highway you should follow the indications to VENICE (there are indication everywhere). To reach Venice you should cross a very long bridge (which connect Venice to the mainland and is the only way by car). Once you are on the bridge (long about 3 km.) you should stay to the right. At the traffic-light (there is only one) at olmost the end of the bridge you should turn to the right following the indications to the "ferry-boat" to LIDO. Once turned to the rigth you should turn to the rigth again crossing a small bridge and entering in a very large parking area called "TRONCHETTO". DONT PARK THE CAR THERE. You have to cross it till the end where there is the ferry-boat station on which you get on board with your car.
- The ferry-boat service cost approx. 10.00 Euro/15.00 Euro it depends from the car lenght. Anyway, please consider the fact that parking the car in TRONCHETTO or Piazzale ROMA , parkings located in the entrance area in Venice (30 minutes by boat to San Mark's Square), it would cost you apprx. 30.00 Euro per day and then you should carry with you all the bags till the hotel. The Lido-place in VENICE offers you the chance to reach , by cacthing the ferry boat, directly and confortable the hotel by car staying at only 10 minutes by boat from Saint Mark's Square.
BE AWARE. as before entering in the parking area you may meet some people who will try to stop you offering to park the car somewhere. DONT BOTHER THEM as parking rates are very expensive. Tell them that you are not interested and that you are going to cacth the ferry-boat.

Once you are landed on LIDO by the ferry-boat drive towards the right along the laguna-side. After 1.5 kilometers you will be on the main Lido's square. On this square all the boat leave to Saint Mark's Square . Once you are in Lido's Square turn to the left and get in a very large street (located in the middle of the square). the Hotel Reiter is located half way to the left numb. 57/b (approx. 150 meters from the square next the pharmacy).
